Anthony Ghiglia Gets Another Cover and Some Editorial Coverage

I got a new cover this month for La Jolla About Town Magazine. I shot the image while playing a round of golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course here in my hometown of La Jolla. LJAB mag was also kind enough to do a feature on my photography and prints gallery.

Surfer Magazine's "BIG ISSUE" was released this month and a few of my images were included in it. This first one is of a surfer/photographer/explorer, Drew Cowan, I met while on photo trip to El Salvador last year. Drew had stopped at this small surf town while making his trek south from Texas. I set up a few remote flashes that I carry with me on editorial trips and captured a several images of Drew in his element. Last I heard from Drew he had sold the truck after it finally gave out on him and he was living in Costa Rica. Doesn't sound like a bad gig!

Surf Trip to Mexico with Friends

It's been a while since I've gone on an actual surf trip with boards. A few weeks ago I went down to Mainland Mexico with a few friends to surf. Of course I brought my camera along. Wouldn't you know we arrived the exact same time as one of the best swells of the spring. I managed to shoot a few photos and still get some really fun waves for myself.
